Insomniac Games is a video game developer who created the Ratchet & Clank series. Aside form the series, they also developed Disruptor, the first three Spyro games, Resistance series, Fuse and Sunset Overdrive They are close friends with Sucker Punch Productions and Naughty Dog.
Naughty Dog is one of the Insomniac Games' friendly competitor and they had a close relationship to each other after they were both worked on the same building at a Universal Studios back-lot. For example, Naughty Dog's Crash Bandicoot and Insomniac's Spyro the Dragon were both completed then they left Universal's hands and continue to create the flagship games which are Jak and Daxter series and Ratchet & Clank series, respectively.

Insomniac share it's library assets to High Impact Games in order to develop Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters and it's spin-off to the series, Secret Agent Clank. Since the company was formed by former Insonniacs, they had a close relationship to each other.
Insomniac is currently working with Rainmaker Entertainment, to produce the Ratchet & Clank film. This company has producing most of Barbie film series for Mattel.
Last 2012, Insomniac were working with Idol Minds, to develop the Ratchet & Clank Collection and Ratchet: Deadlocked HD for the Ratchet & Clank 10th anniversary.
